Mommy & Me Yoga
(babies up to
crawling)
This class offers a welcoming environment for new mothers to care for
themselves and connect with their bodies, their babies, and other moms. A
fussy baby, bottle- or breastfeeding, and diaper changing become our practice
as much as a Downward Dog pose. We’ll practice
yoga poses accessible to all levels, while paying special attention to a new
mom’s requests — chest openers, abdominal strengtheners, and
poses to include your little one. Please bring whatever you need to make your
baby comfortable (toys, pacifier, bottles, diapers, blanket, etc.)
|
Vinyasa Strength
An invigorating strength-based class which focuses on
postures which build strength in the core of the body for improved posture and
stability. This class is ideally suited for mothers with babies, computer
users and anyone who would like to improve posture, reduce back discomfort
and open their heart! This is a fun and challenging class open to everyone!
|
|
Core Yoga
This class will
focus specifically on strengthening and stretching the core muscles. Students will find the asanas
(postures) to be the same as any other yoga class, except they will learn to
be especially mindful on how they use their inner strength in their practice.
|
Sunrise Yoga
There’s no better way to start the day than with a
celebration of life. Beginning the day with yoga, Kula (community), and
intention is a wonderful way to bring calmness, strength, joy, grace and
presence into your life. In this class you will learn how to get the
most out of the poses by surrendering more deeply into them. We will focus on
releasing holding patterns, constrictions, negative thought patterns and
beliefs which keep us from living in our full potential. Sunrise yoga is
an all-levels class in which each person will be met at their challenge
level. This class is a combination of intention, joy, spirituality,
psychology, healing, asanas and yogic philosophy.
As such, it’s a perfect class for those new to yoga, those wanting to
go deeper into the physical practice, those wanting to take the practice off
the mat and into life, and anyone in the process of healing and recovery.
